The 4-H Outstanding Service Award recognizes a member who has committed his or her time to the Cuming County 4-H program and their club over their entire 4-H career.

During the 2023 annual conference of the Wyoming Weed and Pest Council (WWPC), four people were given awards for dedicating themselves to WWPC’s mission. These individuals helped to provide unified support and leadership for integrated management of noxious weeds and pests to protect economic and ecological resources in the State of Wyoming.

The warmth and sunshine were beneficial to crop maturation and harvest activities. Although many crops had a late start this year and it’s been a cooler than average summer across the region, late season conditions are rapidly advancing crop maturation and drydown.

Fall began September 23 with the arrival of the Autumnal Equinox. Most lower elevations have yet to see a freeze event and thus far there has been little, if any, snowfall.
