Even though this is supposed to be the season of joy, people are people no matter what season it is, and even when they don’t mean to, people complain. There are even websites devoted to complaining. Sometimes complaining is crazy, sometimes it’s silly, and sometimes it’s downright funny. Here are some of the funniest things that people gripe about.

“People who pass on the right when I’m already speeding.”

Remakes, reboots and sequels. Can’t anybody come up with something original?

Taxes. No matter how perfect your life is you can always complain about taxes.

Having to choose a language at an ATM. It makes me want to cuss in four languages.

Tinsel. I hate tinsel. Why does everybody have to ruin Christmas by putting tinsel on their tree?

Popular music. I hate the new stuff, bring back the old stuff. Or come up with something new that’s actually good.

People who complain about the weather. You can’t change the weather. Complain about weatherman instead.

People who complain. It bores everyone else and does you no good.

My cats. They never respect me.

Silly, annoying kids songs that get stuck in your head all day.

Christmas lasting from the day after Thanksgiving to New Years. I think we should outlaw gift giving. It would calm everyone down.

People who drive around and around the parking lot looking for a closer spot when they’re planning to walk around shopping for the next two hours.

So you see that complaining is a worldwide sport and we probably all do it more than we intend to.  But sometimes you just need to vent. So enjoy this Christmas season as much as possible, and remember that even if you have a legitimate gripe, don’t complain too much. It just bores everyone else and does you no good!
