University of Wyoming meat lab is full-fledged packing plant

LARAMIE, Wyo. – Students of all majors have the opportunity to work and gain real-world skills at the University of Wyoming’s (UW) Meat Lab – a full packing plant on campus.

Kelcey Christensen has managed the UW Meat Lab for five years and is responsible for teaching students the entire process of a packing plant – from slaughtering the animals to cutting and packaging the meat.
