KIMBALL – I had an interesting email exchange the other day. My correspondent, commenting on an assertion I’d made, wondered how I could possibly justify the claim.
The claim I made was that solar scientists are forecasting the onset of a period of reduced solar activity – a so-called solar minimum – and an attendant downturn in global temperatures.
